Niagara Falls
A Family Vacation You Will Never Forget
I think the Canadian side is the best area as the falls faces there and you get an outstanding view and it cost less to stay.
There is a lot of attractions there besides just the falls, so visit Niagara Falls Information to find out more.

We traveled to Florida, the East Coast, and many areas of the U.S. and never gave a second thought to a nearby area enriched with caves. Old Man's Cave.
There are indoor waterparks where you can get a room and it includes all sorts of water rides. We now have this on our agenda.
An upcoming trip I will write about is at Newport Aquarium, about 200 miles from here. Our grandsos is anxious on that one.
The point is you just may find a lot of nice areas your entire family will enjoy nearby and, staying close to home, you will spend less on travel and have a lot more to spend at your destination.
Newport Aquarium in Kentucky

We took our daughter and her son to Newport as Cody loves sharks. It was about a 4 hour drive but very easy to find. The scenery is outstanding right outside the aquarium.
My grandson loved it! From birds landing on his head to alligators under the feet (glass floor), this was a trip that was well worth it and . . .
When he shouted "A Hammerhead Shark" and went running, I wouldn't have cared what it cost. That was the main thing he wanted to see.
I put up more information on my vacation site at Vacation Digest but if you live anywhere near Kentucky, and have kids, I highly recommend this.
By the way, there is a real nice touch tanks where you can touch the sharks.
One more thing - the picture above is not a live shark. :-)
